Student
entrepreneurship has become a focal point of social development,
especially in the context of “innovation and entrepreneurship”.
How to empower student entrepreneurship and accelerate entrepreneur
programs is of equal importance. In April 2019, the RRS Logistics
University Entrepreneurship Training Camp has achieved new
accomplishments: at the 2019 fourth session of the Entrepreneurship
Training Camp, enterprise mentors and student entrepreneur from the
University of Science and Technology of China, Huazhong University of
Science and Technology, Anhui University, Dongbei University of
Finance and Economics, and Beijing Jiaotong University etc. jointly
filed 18 national patents, which are based on logistics scenarios and
their innovative research. To date, 40 national patents have been
filed through the four sessions of the RRS Logistics University
Entrepreneurship Training Camp.
College
students are talent resources with a competitive edge and an
innovation vibe. Today, students have demonstrated enthusiasm and
diversified thinking in entrepreneurship. However, due to the lack of
practical experience, resources and platform support, many
outstanding entrepreneurship programs cannot be implemented.
Therefore, it is of paramount importance to encourage
entrepreneurship among students by empowering student entrepreneurs
and strengthening industry-university-research cooperation.
As
part of its commitment to student entrepreneurship, the RRS Logistics
University Entrepreneurship Training Camp connects student
entrepreneurs with enterprises and higher education institutions and
creates an innovation ecosystem in the logistics industry. For
enterprises, RRS Logistics University Entrepreneurship Training Camp
can be a good source of innovative ideas. The Camp helps them enrich
and iterate scenario solutions. For higher education institutions,
the Camp advances the transformation of industry-university-research
cooperation and accelerates the industrial implementation of
scientific achievements. The Camp provides college students with
valuable opportunities of entrepreneurship practice.
The
Environmentally-friendly Courier Box and Recycle Solution invented by
the entrepreneur team of Southeast University targets high-end home
appliance users. After several rounds of incubation, the solution has
been successfully applied to the RRS Logistics Valuables Shipping
Project.
By
decoding the cultural gene of “human value comes first”, RRS
Logistics always sees people as the top priority and endeavors to
build a platform of co-creation and winning together so that student
entrepreneurs can have the resources and opportunities to achieve
innovation and entrepreneurship.
As
the first entrepreneurship and innovation platform for college
students, RRS Logistics University Entrepreneurship Training Camp has
held four sessions since its launch in 2016, covering over 500 higher
education institutions in China. The Camp has also established
extensive cooperation with over 30 enterprises and higher education
institutions, which includes 175 entrepreneurship research projects,
83 incubation projects, 40 national patents and 15 implemented
projects.
The
innovation achievements also come from the open ecosystem of the RRS
Logistics Entrepreneurship Training Camp. Other than the over 500
higher education institutions, RRS Logistics collaborates with
enterprises and association ecosystems such as the China Society of
Logistics, KENGIC Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd, XSHUAI Technology,
Lejiachengpin, RRS Service and Haier Water Purification etc.
With
the support of ecosystem resources, the RRS Logistics
Entrepreneurship Training Camp is more than an entrepreneur
instruction provider or a college student training camp. It serves as
an open innovative platform in the logistics industry, digs into
users’ needs and offers solutions based on varied resources. For
entrepreneurship achievement to be more specific and practical, the
RRS Logistics Entrepreneurship Training Camp, with the chronic issues
of large item logistics in mind, directs the research towards the
needs of users by iterating traditional logistics models and creating
innovative solutions to logistics scenarios.
Currently,
the 2020 RRS Logistics Entrepreneurship Training Camp jointly held by
the China Society of Logistics and RRS Logistics is now open for
registration. This year’s session will focus on the future
development of the logistics industry, center on the technical,
digital and scenario aspects of logistics services and empower
student entrepreneur to discover new ways of entrepreneurship from
different perspectives including logistics scenario services, online
freight platforms, cross-border transportation, supply chains etc.
