The
clothing industry is moving fast in the direction of “high tech
development”. IoT has ushered in the era of the Internet of
Clothing (IoC). On 10thSeptember 2019, Haier IoC and the China National Garment Association
jointly hosted the China Garment IoC Ecosystem Forum with the theme
of “IoC Ecosystem, Co-creation and Winning Together”. At the
forum, Haier IoC released internet appliances and practices of the
smart home ecosystem. Haier IoC also set up an IoC Ecosystem Cloud
Platform and implemented manufacturer-store-home scenarios with
clothing enterprises and technology service providers etc.
On
the same day, Haier IoC launched the world’s first industrial
application model base in Wuxi, extending RFID IoT technology to the
whole industry chain including smart tracing and smart manufacturing.
In the era of IoT, the life of clothes has been changed by a chip.
Innovative commercial formats are transcending traditional household
services and industries and are heading toward ecosystems.
According
to statistics, the total volume of garment production in China
reached 45.6 billion pieces. In this context, how to link the needs
of customers with big data has become a priority in the
transformation of the clothing industry. In the Haier IoC ecosystem,
technical resource providers such as 5G, AI and blockchain are
involved in speeding up data processing, perceiving the needs of
users and serving them, safeguarding user privacy and data security
and laying the foundation for users to connect with the cloud.
Haier
IoC has implemented IoC ecosystem practices throughout China, such as
transparent user tracking and customized enterprise manufacturing.
With the application of RFID technology, users can access the
information of each piece of clothing, including the origin of raw
materials, through a QR code or a RFID tag. In this way, users will
have more trust in enterprises for their transparent clothing
manufacturing process, which in turn boosts enterprises in improving
the quality of products.
Smart
home has become a popular industry in the era of IoT. Clothing
involves multiple living needs such as washing, maintenance, storage,
styling and shopping. As an important part of smart home, Haier Smart
Home has introduced smart washers, clothing care cabinets, shoe
washers, smart shoe cabinets, 3D dressing mirrors, clothing manager
modules, smart children clothes care cabinets, etc., ushering in the
era of cloud services.
At
Haier Smart Home, users can receive automatic notifications on mobile
APP or other terminals, such as weather forecast, current stock of
clothes, daily schedule and maintenance arrangements. Thanks to RFID
tags, each piece of clothes is quantified into data and the
memory-based clothes styling is transformed into data matching. All
the above is just a small part of the applications of Haier IoC.
The
Haier IoC ecosystem platform receives the needs of users in the cloud
and safeguards user privacy and data security through blockchain
technologies. Haier IoC analyzes user profiles in accordance with
their needs in washing, maintenance, storage, matching and shopping,
and provides full-process clothing services in five major scenarios
including field, factory, store, home and recycling.
Along
with further upgrades of industrial connections, it is important to
develop data thinking as well as to take a leading role in the
implementation of home, store, and factory services. Haier Wuxi IoC
Ecosystem Base has launched the first project, the Haier Yunshang IoT
Intelligence Store.
Intelligence
store connects smart home and smart factory, links reception and
background in the cloud and improves the quality of service from
cloud to terminal. The intelligence store supports member
recognition, traffic tracking & analysis, AI smart hangers, smart
fitting room, interactive cloud shelves, self-service cashier systems
and smart access control systems. The store provides customers with
washing, air wash, and leather maintenance services etc. Customers
are also offered bespoke clothing solutions, which are recommended by
the smart system in the store.
In
the era of IoT, the distance between industrial manufacturing and
household life has narrowed down to zero due to the intelligent
development of home, store and factory. Haier IoC, under the guidance
of the RenDanHeYi model, provides smart laundry and care solutions
that cover washing, maintenance, storage, styling and purchasing.
Haier IoC has set up a cross-industry ecosystem cluster and sparked
the ecosystem revolution in all industries, systems and procedures.
