The opening ceremony of Emerson (China) Motor Co., Ltd was held in Haier (Jiaozhou) Industrial Park on October 18th. Yu Chong, vice mayor of Qingdao, Lindemann, CEO of Emerson Motor Group, Yang Mianmian, president of Haier Group, and others attended the ceremony. Emerson (China) Motor is a company established by the US-based Emerson Group, with an investment of USD 98.2 million. It will mainly produce motors for air conditioners and washing machines. Emerson Motor CEO Lindemann said, "The successful Haier has provided a good chance for Emerson. The two sides will make further progresses together!"
