Swiftly and efficiently implementing the Model T management to gain On January 21, 2006, Haier 2005 Working and Awarding Conference was held in Haier Research Institute with presence of Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin, Haier President Yang Mianmian and epresentatives of Haiermember companies and divisions. The conference focused upon Haier's 2006 theme, dividual-goal combination, swift action and success", and was televised live for 15 sessions through the video system. At the meeting site saw a wooden barrel as a symbol of Model T management. Haier likens the Model T management to a "Wooden Barrel",of which the bottom symbolizes the operating platform, bail means the 4T, and 13 boards 13 nodal points of Model T. Every employee may bepositioned on the "Wooden Barrel". The conference agenda was carried out on Model T. In the conference, Yang Mianmian delivered the 2005 Haier Work Report,saying that the most ignificant thing Haier did in 2005 was shifting Haier's business strategy to the Global Brand Building Stage, ating the change of Haier's target market, and also market target. The target market is world market and market target is to gain the first place competitiveness in every corner of the world market. In 2005, Haier, under the guidance of the concept of "Individual-goal combination, swift action and success", gained the global sales revenue of RMB103.9 billion, 29,800 folds that in 1984. The total volume of exported Haier brand products and Haier products manufactured and distributed overseas was USD2.8 billion. Yang also made further analysis on 4T (time, target, today and team) of Model T, compared old and new policies to find existing shortcomings and required employees to realize the significance of Model T.
