"I am honored for having opportunities to visit Haier and discussing with Haier senior officials over Haier SBU Management System", said visiting Professor Marshall W Meyer of Walton Business College of Pennsylvania University March 24, 2005 when meeting Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin and Haier President Yang Mianmian. Since 2001, Professor Marshall W Meyer has paid 4 visits to Haier for research on Haier SBU Management System. Over the past 4 years, Professor Marshall W Meyer was concerned about the progress of Haier SBU System proceeding as the professor believes that Haier SBU System is impressive to business management researchers and significant to enterprises as it can stimulate the enthusiasm of employees in innovation, customer relations and the company business development. Professor Marshall W Meyer wishes to organize a team in Walton Business College to work with Haier management for research on Haier SBU System and is quoted as saying when paying the first visit to Haier 4 years ago, "If Haier SBU System is successful, the whole world will benefit."
