On March 2nd, His Majesty King Abdullah¢òof Jordan,the king of Jordan interviewed Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier Group in Jordan Palace- the opening of Haier Middle East Industrial Park is an important milestone of Haier's internationalization in Middle East! On March 2nd, Zhang Ruimin, the CEO of Haier Group and his associates were specially interviewed by His Majesty King Abdullah¢òof Jordan in Jordan Palace during their inspection of Jordan market. As early as in 2002, the king of Jordan specially talked with chairman Zhang on network video about inviting Haier to invest in Jordan. Two years passed, from the primary commercial company to investing on constructing factory, till now our Group has set up Haier Middle East Industrial Park in Jordan, Haier has gained high-speed development in Jordan. This time, King Abdullah specially interviewed chairman Zhang and his associates to express his gratitude for Haier's contribution on accelerating the economic development of Jordan. The CEO Zhang-Haier is willing to contribute more on Jordan's economic construction! ¡¡In the conversation, the Chairman Zhang expressed that he thanked the King's support on Haier Project, and that Haier was willing to contribute more on Jordan's economic construction! Currently Haier has invested 40 million dollars in Jordan. The Haier Middle East Industrial Park opened on March 1st has brought 850 employment opportunities for the local people. With the expansion of factory and improvement of production capacity, it will provide further assistance on solving the employment problem of Jordan. Compared with Haier's other manufacture bases all over the world, Haier Middle East Industrial Park has two differences: first, it not only produces products but also makes use of the manufacture resource of front end components and so it will improve the level of the whole industry; second, it will develop into a regional center, which will not only satisfy the requirement of local customers but also provide Haier products to the whole Middle East region. After listening to the introduction by Chairman Zhang, King Abdullah said delightedly: Thanks very much for Haier's investment in Jordan, please let me know if you have any problem and requirement! He further expressed that Jordan supported Chinese excellent enterprises such as Haier Group to come to and invest in Jordan, and promised that he would try to provide convenient conditions. He further indicated that if Haier Group had difficulty in its developing process in Jordan, he himself would assist in or send persons specially assigned to help in solving all encountered problems. He wished that Chinese enterprises set Haier as example to provide more high-grade products to Jordan's market.
