The Most Powerful Woman in Business Outside the US listed by The Wall Street Jo.. The Wall Street Journal issued the first list of The Most Powerful Woman in Business Outside the US November 8. Haier President Yang Mianmian was nominated on the list. Reportedly, the 50 most powerful women on the list was selected from 550 candidates recommended by the staff journalists, editors and professionals of The Wall Street Journal. The nominees on the list are those who are believed to be most successful and will play the most important role in global business sector. Beside Haier President Yang Mianmian, the other 2 nominees are Xie Qihua, President of Shanghai Baoshan Iron & Steel Group, and Wu Xiaoling, Vice President of The People's Bank of China.
