Leaders of Anhui Provincial Committee and Hefei municipal government, leaders of Qingdao municipal government and CEO Zhang Ruimin of Haier were present at the completion ceremony. The completion of Haier Industrial Park in Hefei symbolizes the foundation of the largest B2B production base in China. By far Haier has built 7 industrial parks throughout the world. Haier Industrial Park in Hefei occupies 800 mu and has the following projects: digital color TV, air conditioner and mould. These projects have been completed in November 2000. Haier Group has put forward the strategy of globalization and the orders have increased quickly. The production base in Qingdao cannot satisfy the needs of the market any more. The completion of Haier Industrial Park in Hefei will heighten the productivity of Haier and meet the needs of the consumers.
