Haier Group cooperates with Microsoft Haier Group and Microsoft Co. held the news release in Beijing on September 20, 2000 and signed Haier-Microsoft Cooperation Agreement. Haier and Microsoft would cooperate in technology development and create the new era of e-family. Vice President Chai Yongsen of Haier Group, President Michael Rawding of Microsoft China and other leaders addressed in the signing ceremony and more than 70 reporters attended this news release. Haier Group entered into IT industry in 1998. Haier computer sells very quickly now. Haier believes that the future appliance will develop towards net, intelligent and personal. Haier puts forward the concept of e-family of the new net time. It is said that Haier and Microsoft will carry out the cooperation in the field of information appliance, PC, software and Internet.
