Haier Group to build its South China headquarters in Xiamen

According to staff of Haier Group, the company recently made the decision to build their south China headquarters in Xiamen, after which Xiamen will be the second comprehensive headquarters base city of Haier, after Chongqing.
In order to find a city suitable for launching its south China headquarters, Haier Group researched many south China cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, and Fuzhou. After comparing a number of indexes, such as political environment, economic conditions, and the cultural environment, the company finally selected Xiamen as the future base city of its south China headquarters.
With an estimated investment of RMB 6-6.5 billion, the south China headquarters of Haier Group will be composed of many sub-projects, including a Haier South China Research Center, a Haier South China Incubation Center for Small Industries, a Haier South China Headquarters Accounting Center, a Haier South China Smart City and a Haier South China Actual & Virtual Network Service Center.
Haier Group has officially signed an “Investment Intention Agreement” with Haicang district, and construction on the projects above will be kicked off over the next 3 years.
