Recently, the oldest German industrial design agency, namely Hanover Industrial Design Forum, officially published the winners of“2015 iF Design Award”. Eight types of Haier products were awarded with this award, where UI design of double-drum washing machine was honored concept design award, and seven types of Haier products were awarded with product design award, including Tianzun air conditioning, IoT wine cabinet.
As learned, the iF Design Award of Germany was established in 1953, with a history over 60 years. It has been regarded as one of the most famous international awards, also known as the “Oscar in Design”. The design will be recognized throughout the world and the industry of design and business, if it is awarded with the iF Design Award. Last year, six types of Haier products won the iF Design Award. And this year, the number went up to eight.
Since 2007, the art design has been an important link to communication with users, following the fashion design. The performance of Haier products exactly fit the trend. In addition, the innovative design oriented by the needs of users played a key role in the attitude of judges.
