Haier Launched 4.0 Strategy Sample as World Premiere: Interconnected Factory

“Made in China 2025” is likely to be settled in the home appliance industry first. During Shanghai Home Expo on March 12, Hair Group released the practice of industry 4.0 strategy and launched user intercross customizing platform and resource platform of modular makers. In the strategy practice, Hair regarded the essence of industry 4.0 as interconnected factories. Currently, a number of visual interconnected factories have been established in Shenyang, Zhengzhou and Qingdao etc. and other factories are being upgraded and reformed. The settlement of interconnected factories is a strong response to the forthcoming “Made in China 2025” strategy.
It is known that Hair has established interconnected factories of Shenyang Refrigerator Factory, Zhengzhou Air-conditioner Factory, Fuosha Washing Machine Factory and Qingdao Water Heater Factory. The world’s first customized air conditioner has been put into production in the interconnected factory in Zhengzhou. The front end of Hair interconnected factories is the user intercross customizing platform named “Zhong Chuang Hui” on which direct communication can be carried out between Hair and users and users are able to see the whole process of products production by various terminals including 10 joint nodes of content customization, order placing customization and order completion, which are all “mastered” by the users. The launch of user intercross customizing platform means that users are no longer looking on the production, but are participating in the whole process and it initiates the era of “self-customized production”.
