On 24th February, Haier Air Conditioning signed MOU with Mitsubishi Electric at the Headquarter of Mitsubishi Electric located at Shizuoka, Japan. In the next 5 years, two companies will join together in the R & D to develop products with features of intelligence, comfort, energy-saving, and they will co-build R & D team, to provide solutions of creating high-end products with personalized characters. Two companies already stared their strategic cooperation by co-building the laboratory on May, 2014, which had an enormous influence on R & D of Air conditioning industry and high-end products with personalized and creative features.
In fact, this strategic cooperation does not only cover the technology cooperation between two enterprises, this is also a result of continuous growth of Haier’s smart air conditioning ecosystem, a result of accelerating important result transformation. As the world leading electrical appliance producers, after connecting itself into the smart air ecosystem, two companies will take the advantages of R & D on creative technology and solutions of providing high-end products with personalized and creative features, in order to create intelligence and healthy air experience.
On 1st January 2016, the State Council issued the medal of technology improvement for Haier, which is the only one in the year 2015 for the whole electrical appliance industry. The award refers to the areas of intelligence, comfort, energy-saving, this si the highest recognition for the creativity sector of China’s electrical appliance. The industry experts also comment that Haier Air Conditioning and Mitsubishi Electric work together from component to co-build laboratories, technologies, and products, this is inevitably lead the sustainable development for the high-end air conditioning industry, which also set a role model for creating the best user experience.
