At the Smart Air Conditioning Experience Conference held on November 26th, attendees were excited to be on hand for the debut of the world’s first Haier Jinbo HomeKit air conditioning unit. In keeping with the conference’s theme of “Intelligent Interconnection – Foreseeing the Future”, the debut was accompanied by fun and fanfare as well as excitement on the part of Apple fans keen on becoming early adopters.
Apple’s HomeKit Smart Home Platform, the most influential smart home control center in the world, has continued to attract the attention of global brands throughout the industry. Haier (Air Conditioning) joined the team as one of the first developers as early as 2014, when the platform was initially established, and now the Jinbo Air Conditioner is the first and only HomeKit household appliance to have been developed, launched, and currently available for purchase. Once connected to HomeKit, the Jinbo Series units will seamlessly pair with Apple devices and be accessible via the built-in “Home” app as well as the Siri voice commands. Additionally, connectivity between several devices will be available, opening up countless possibilities for consumers.
Apple’s HomeKit platform provides a smart control center for all of your household appliances, while Haier’s new unit represents the first appliance ready to be integrated in into the new smart ecosystem. At the conference, Haier's Jinbo HomeKit air conditioner drew huge crowds of fascinated onlookers with its highlighted intelligent capabilities, including interaction with iOS smart home sensors, air sensors, Siri and smart lighting, allowing it to create personalized and customizable U-home experiences.
