On August 15, Haier Thailand first laundromat Mr.Hi Smart+ was officially opened, representatives from 25 participants core media were invited, the smart IoT laundry service for users was still displayed online.
In Thailand, self-service laundry is popular among users. However, most laundry rooms in Thailand are using domestic washing machines with small inner tub, which lead to the long washing time. Also, it cannot make online appointments though the machine. To solve user's pain point, Haier Thailand developed the application Mr.Hi. By searching the nearby community laundry stores through Mr.Hi, users can check the availability and status of washing machines, gaining convenient washing scenario experiences.
"As the first IoT smart laundry service system settled in Thailand, a 24-hour laundry shop, Mr.Hi uses 3C (cleaning, care, convenience) as the concept to bring users relaxed laundry scenarios." Mr. Zhang Zhenghui, the Thailand EMC owner said.
This year HAT plans to open 50 IoT laundry shops in Bangkok and surrounding areas and expand to 200 shops next year, applying the IoT community washing model to schools, communities and other life scenarios.
