On September 4th local time, “Snapshot” Haier website received a group of pictures uploaded by Aida Maki, a Japanese netizen. In the pictures named “Coming across AQUA”, a couple of people are enjoying sake at a table. Quite a few bottles of sake are on the table beside which there is a black cabinet. After the communication between Haier’s staff and Aida Maki, it is known that it is an AQUA sake cabinet for sake storage. This type of cabinets was specially designed for sake lovers in Japan. The pictures were shot in Tokyo Sake Festival in Shinjuku last August.
Tokyo Sake Festival is traditional in Japan. On the first day of the festival, reps from many sake factories will gather to pray for a good season to make sake. There were 51 nationwide sake factories and a lot of sake lovers in the festival this year. The everyday visitor number reached over 10,000 including Aida Maki.
Aida Maki said that she saw 8 AQUA sake cabinets in the performance area, the animation show area, etc. which were used to keep sake across the country in cold storage. Their black appearance was so attractive. The interior of the sake cabinets was designed according to the shape of Japanese sake bottles. Then, she shot the pictures.
In recent years, Japanese sake has gradually been popular all over the world, and the export is growing year by year. The storage of sake, however, is always a problem. The flavor and quality of sake are easily to be affected by temperature and light. Aiming at the storage for Japanese sake, AQUA sake cabinets set the temperature at -5°C to keep sake fresh so that the original fresh flavor can be kept as much as possible.
