On October 28th local time, a group of photos was uploaded to “Snapshot” Haier website by Misa, a netizen from Japan. There is a launderette called ENEOS Laundry at an ENEOS, a well-known gas station brand in Japan. This novel cooperation, which is between two different industries, has attracted a lot of netizens. It is learnt that ENEOS has become an eco-partner of AQUA (owned by Haier Smart Home) Community Wash. The launderette in the photo is the 5th one of their cooperation.
After the communication between Haier’s staff and Misa, it is known that ENEOS, the biggest oil refiner and distributor in Japan, has over 10,000 gas stations locally. Due to its great reputation, many locals will specially choose to go to an ENEOS. In the past, Misa often went to the launderettes of FamilyMart (a convenience store cooperative of AQUA Community Wash). Now, the opening up of the ENEOS Laundry enables more users to experience efficient and smart laundry service.
In Japan, there are a lot of families like Misa’s, namely families of dual-career couples. On the one hand, they do not have time and energy to do the laundry on workdays, on the other hand, large items of clothing and quilt covers can not be washed because the volume of washing machines is small in most families. As a result, more and more users decide to go to a community launderette, which owns washing machines with large volume. The eco-cooperation between AQUA and ENEOS has not only broken through the limit of traditional clothing washing, but also has provided brand-new scene solutions to clothing washing for more Japanese users.
Besides wonderful convenience of the laundry service, users can also enjoy fantastic life convenience. After users enter an ENEOS Laundry and put laundry into washing machines, the large-volume washing machines will quickly wash and dry large items. The isolated way of “one customer, one laundry basket” has dispelled the concern over cross infection. After putting laundry into washing machines, users can just go to the gas station (right beside the launderette) for car refueling and washing.
Currently, AQUA Community Wash ranks first with a 70% market share. In addition, it has achieved eco-cooperation with resource sides such as ENEOS, FamilyMart and Procter & Gamble, constantly innovating and pushing back the ecological boundaries of shared laundry service. AQUA’s advanced CLOUD IoT system has provided its partners with convenient remote management, users’ search for relevant stores, checking out vacant washing machines, etc. Thus, resource sides can gain higher ecological income while reducing investment so as to create more value and possibility.
As the first Chinese enterprise that started to build its own brand overseas, Haier Smart Home has made its globalization the most complete and the most transparent. In Japan, AQUA, which is owned by Haier Smart Home, will continue enriching its clothing-washing scenes based on users’ demands. By differentiated business models, more and more eco-related partners will be attracted, offering great clothing-washing experience to users.
