Haier MEA Brand Summit

On the afternoon of May 2nd, the 2024 Haier MEA Brand Summit themed "Breakthrough · Leading · Infinite Win-Win" was held in Cairo, Egypt, with over 350 dealers in attendance.

The summit announced Haier Smart Home’s achievements in the Middle East and Africa region, as well as its future strategic layout. In recent years, Haier MEA has continuously enhanced its brand competitiveness and influence by optimizing product structure, establishing brand stores, and participating in industry exhibitions, achieving a double growth in three years, outpacing the industry overall. In the high-end market, it has gradually become the preferred choice for users through localized innovation. For instance, Haier Egypt's share of high-end washing machine has reached over 60%, and series 979 drum washing machines have seen sales increase by 200%, with a price index reaching up to 166.

A range of high-end products designed to meet user needs were displayed at the summit. For example, focusing on local users' lifestyles and dietary habits, Haier Smart Home collaborated with professional institutions to research the scientific storage methods for 2,220 types of food ingredients, developing the HRF-690 refrigerators that achieve first-class freshness preservation and a sterilization rate of 99.99%. Based on the characteristic that MEA users often wear robes and have large laundry loads, the Haier 979 series washing machines are equipped with a 525mm extra-large drum, saving 45% of laundry time, while also being energy and water efficient and providing quiet washing.

Additionally, Haier showcased five smart living scenarios: smart entryway, smart living room, smart kitchen, smart bedroom, and smart bathroom, offering users an easy and convenient smart living experience.

Haier MEA also invited dealers to visit the Haier Smart Home Egypt Eco-Park, which opened on the same day. The first phase of covers air conditioners, washing machines, and televisions, creating standardized and scaled local production to help Haier MEA respond more quickly to the local market, significantly reduce transportation costs, and inject new vitality into its performance growth.

This brand summit not only served as a platform for Haier MEA to showcase its achievements but also provided a great opportunity to strengthen partnerships, promote market expansion, and enhance brand image.
